Douglas fir and metal console
This console was made to measure for my aunt Ginette’s living room. Its Douglas fir top, protected with a linseed-oil finish, rests on slender black metal legs fixed directly to the wood. The combination of warm timber and metal gives it a light, understated silhouette.
