Piece details

Turned beech garden dibber

This garden dibber is turned from a beech log originally intended as firewood. Its tapered point makes regular holes in the soil for seeds, young plants or small bulbs, while the shaped handle provides a comfortable grip. A tung-oil finish nourishes the wood and protects it during work in the vegetable garden. Each piece can be made to order and retains the distinctive tones of the beech used.
